Finding land is a major undertaking these days. Most people will need a good realtor to find a lot or land to their liking or maybe you already have land. We will try to help with the this process since we have many years dealing with lot purchases,
subdivisions etc.
Step 2
Specifications, Contract and Permits
It is our job to design and build a home which will meet your family needs. We listen to your desires and apply the necessary current building codes, materials, and methods to construct the house you will call home. Once a contract is completed then a loan can be secured through your favorite bank or lender. Finally, the home plans and specifications are used to obtain a building permit from the local building planning department.
Step 3
Construction Phase
Construction will take 6 to 8 months from the time ground is broken. This time depends on variables such as: weather, materials availablity, availability of labor and sub-contractors. The home starts with concrete footings and laying the masonary foundation. Next framing is erected, windows and doors installed, roofing and siding applied. At this stage the home is dried-in. Next the rough-in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical trades are completed and the exterior painting is done. The home is inspected before and after insulation is installed. Drywall is next, then interior wood finish trim, cabinetry, and interior paint. Last items are flooring,light fixtures, plumbing trim. Also landscaping, and water and sewer hookups are completed on the exterior.
Step 4
CO and Move-in
Once all items are complete the final inspections are performed in order to issue the "CO" so that your new can be occupied.
